TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Aldi portable weather station

Tue 01 Sep, 2015 2:54 pm

I saw this in Aldi today but it must have come out last Sunday. A portable "weather station" to attach to your pack. It is $20 and tells temperature, humidity, time, compass bearing, barometric pressure, altimeter function, max/min for temp and humidity, trend for temp and humidity, "comfort", pressure max and min and memory last 12 hrs, weather forecast and trend, max and min altitude. The details seem to have disappeared from the Aldi site. Available black, blue, yellow. If you want one suggest you go ASAP.
