Hammock under quilt

Looking for some input from hammock users. I have the hammock and now am looking for an underquilt for the coming walking season.

I'm looking at the Hammock Gear 40 degree underquilt which I think should be plenty warm enough for most places in Oz unless you get into snow, I sleep warm. http://www.hammockgear.com/incubator-40/

I wanted a full length underquilt and the length is what has me guessing. They have a Standard 6'6" or a Long 7'1" . I'm 6'2" and since I sleep in the blackbird at an angle I figured the Standard should be long enough or should I go the longer for the extra 1.3ozs.

The standard should be more than enough.

Standard should be OK....don't forget about a UQ cover too.
Stops all that warmth being blown away when its windy....or use it without the UQ on coconut tree lined beaches in the tropics.
Works a treat.

Yep, sounds like you are on track. An underquilt protector is a good idea as well.
4C should cover you for an underquilt, as you will be able to adjust your comfort range with whatever you are using up top pretty well, and even in really cold conditions, you can layer up far easier than you can with traditional bags.
