Hi all, I'm just trying to polish off the end of my 3-season bushwalking in Tassie shopping list. I'm trying to get this all in one go, so that's why you all are getting bombarded with questions.

Here's the list, with stuff in caps what I already have. I'd GREATLY appreciate advice or additions I may have forgotten. This list does not include clothes, domestic household goodies or personal toiletries.

COLEMAN PHAD 3 MAN TENT
WE Karijini Pack
VANGO SHERPA 55 PACK
TATONKA KID'S PACK
3 Montbell Ultralight SS Down bags (15f)
3 PO Ethermat 6 Sleeping Mats

SMALL TARP
KOVEA MOONWALKER STOVE
STAINLESS STEEL BILLY
SMALL EXTRA COOKSET/TRANGIA STOVE
3- 1 LITRE NALGENE BOTTLES
SEA-TO-SUMMIT BOWLS X3
SPORKS X3
POCKET KNIVES X2

GARMIN ETREX GPS
A COUPLE OF COMPASSES

Headlamp for Laura, HEADLAMP FOR ME, compact flash for Helen
First aid kit (custom designed)

TROWEL
FOLDING SINK

i'm not worrying with sleeping bag liners right now, until we've figured out if we want fleece or silk, which I guess comes after trying them. Anything I've missed?

Just extra remember batterys. My mates head light turned on in his bag when he packed it a week before the trip and was flat by the time the trip came around. He found this out the first night while he was sitting in the dark.

I always take the batteries out of things when I pack them, for this very reason.

Just a couple of thoughts:

Do you have a liner for the Karinji or are you planning to only use a rain cover/fly. Personally if I had to pick one or the other I'd get a liner over a cover. It's more waterproof and better in scrubby conditions.

The extra cookset/trangia:
I'd opt for a Kovea Superlight orOptimus Crux or similar screw on stove if you are getting a Moonwalker as your primary stove. That way it saves carrying two completely different fuels and their associated containers. Just a thought to save some weight/space

compact flash for Helen
Like a camera storage card?? :?

I've laready got the Trangia knock-off. I doubt I'll use it often- more just for the extra pots.

I've got a liner for the Karijini, but I'm going to get a cover too.

No worries St Huighes- I hugely appreciate you taking the time to think about it.
