Hi All,
I am looking to gear up for my first real multi-day walks in Tassie this summer. :D
I am looking at the Berghaus C7 2 70+10 Pack.
Does anyone own one or have experience with one?
It's on special at around $250.

Thoughts and suggestions most welcome.

Dan

Have you tried it on with weight in it, and checked the Net reviews?

Neither, will go to town in the next day or two to have a look around. Should have said I found the deal on the net, and am interested if the BWT forum members have had any experience with them.
Would trust their reviews more than most :D
Will investigate further over the next few days.
Cheers

Stepbystep,

I have an earlier model (C7 1 65 +10) and have had another long term Berghaus pack before that. They have always suited me. Well made, no problems.

I really like the movement that the C7 gives with the pivoting attachment point of the pack to the harness - side to side and bending over.
Plenty of adjustments to setup to my body, but only change 2 of them now just to give a slight change (holiday?) to a tired body.
Like any pack, where you put the weighty items does make a difference.

Can you try it on in the shop with a realistic amount of weight and see if it suits you?

Jon

Hi Jon,
I am going to try and find one in Hobart over the next few days to try on, the special is online.
I am a notoriously bad shopper, just give me the goods and I'll give you the cash, but as a result always get burned. :(
Thanks for the feedback.
