Well it seems my size is going to be harder to find than I thought
Also I am running out of time to make a pair
I just melted my old bivvy boots in the tumble dryer, it should have been on the cool setting but it seems it wasn't
Had these Alp Sports tent&hut booties for 40 years too
Any ideas on a pair of XL [ 11 to 12/46-48] very synthetic warm booties

Goosefeet Gear are awesome. I use these over-booties with thick socks: https://goosefeetgear.com/products/waterproof-over-booties/...
... but if you want warmth you can get the down socks that go inside them: https://goosefeetgear.com/products/down-socks/ (I consider these a bit OTT, but each to their own).

Nice but not synthetic and my feet do feel the cold on snow and my Apre boots are a bit small since my feet stretched.
I could make my own but I have run out of time

Maybe find some felt liners out of Sorrells or something similar. Cut out and attach some sort of appropriate sole and wear warmies inside them ?????

Go for the ultimate ones I bought a few years ago - down, knee high. They are rippers...way better than the Alp Sports ones I modified years ago with a goretex outer. Will visit shed and tell you what they are....
