Tenacious tape Vs Gorilla clear repair tape?

Can anybody comment?
From a quick look they appear to be either the same or have very similar properties.
But I can buy the Gorilla brand product locally at Bunnings at a far lower cost

Should have used some of this clear stuff on my yellow raincoat instead of the black tenacious stuff-would have kept it's cachet.

A finger smear of roof and gutter silicone seal.
