These are my Scarpa Terra boots. Vibram sole is gone and the injected mid-sole just crumbles away in my fingers.
I loved wearing these boots. So light and comfortable.
I've reached out to Scarpa and (eventually) got told that nothing can be done because the damage in down to the mid-sole.
Anyone know of anyway of resurrecting my favourite boots? Apart from buying new ones?

From the sounds and look of it they are too far gone.

Conceivably you could find a leather specialist/cobbler who might be able to harvest the leather upper and use it to create a new boot. However it's unlikely that the leather specialist would have the same experience in making outdoor boots as scarpa etc does. And it's likely to be around or more than the cost of a complete replacement.

But I agree with commando you should buy new ones. I'd have a chat to Scarpa to find out what in their current range is closest to what you had.

I can think of a work-around but it wouldn't be cheap and it wouldn't be as good as a new boot and that is assuming you could get a replacement outsole in the first place. Having replaced a couple of Vibram and Skywalk soles on other boots it really doesn't work well without the high pressure mould needed to ensure a proper mating of components. You could however simply glue a soft leather or felt sole [ or possibly a combination] to what's left and use them as slippers
