What are 'removable footbeds' in Scarpa boots?

Hi, I've just bought some Scarpa boots and notice they mention 'removable footbeds'. I had assumed they meant the removable insoles but elsewhere they refer to insoles so I'm wondering if there is any difference. If so, what?

Insoles are flat
Removable footbeds have metatarsal arch support like orthotics
