TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I didn’t keep a close enough eye on the titanium pot as I was heating the stew and baked it on a bit.
I’d be grateful for any tips to remove without damaging the pot please.

Just burn it off. Let it get red hot and the stuff just falls off.
Titanium will not be affected, just a colour change to the metal.

Even if you don’t have a dishwasher, use a dishwasher detergent “pill” dissolved in enough water to cover the detritus.

If needed, once the detergent has dissolved, boil the soapy water gently.
The combination of chemical, thermal and physical action should get the gunk off.

Success… used some dishwashing detergent plus some water and a little scrub and it’s 9/10.
Happy now, thank all. Greatly appreciated.
