It's worth considering putting a Wanted to Buy post in Market Square. I've had good experiences buying second hand good quality gear from here.

Au contraire I think they have rolling/random sale prices. Look at/check the site or sign up for notices.

They do occasionally reduce the price on specific items, but the timing of that is anyones' guess.

Don't forget that their "blemished" discounts are like a permanent sale.

Because of the direct sale price structure (there is no mark up built in for retailers...) the only time TT has reduced the price of certain products has been to clear inventory Typically at the end of the season (our late spring) or simply because a new batch of the same or similar product has arrived in Nevada City.
Blamish stock (in particular with DCF because of faults in the fabric from new, when delivered ...) is advertised , when available, under Shop/ Sale and Blems. (BTW that "sale" part has always been there because it was part of the design in the new software)
