Breakout & Hydration

I am interested in the WE Breakout due to its simplicity. I am used to having a hydration bladder in my daypack and would like to have one with this pack. I thought of purchasing a Camelbak Unbottle and attach it to outside somehow of the pack. But this may limit access to outside pocket. I would prefer to have it on the inside of the pack, but I don’t recall anywhere that I could do this.

My second choice of pack is the OP Styx 2. Again attaching it may be a problem. But it does have bottle holders on each side so I won’t need a hydration bladder. But I do like the convenience of having one.

Does anyone have these packs and do they use a hydration bladder?

Thanks
Greenie

I have a Karajini, which is a bigger cousin of the Break Out, and I do not think it has an exit post for a blader, though I'm pretty sure you could put one up around the top somewhere. I prefer bottles to bladders, so I haven't looked to be honest. If no one else knows I'll pull mine out of the closet and have a look.

I have used a 2lt bladder in my Karajini and just fed the pipe out of the top with no problems, have gone back to bottles now which I can fit into the bottom pockets on each side (I do tie them on) jic .

My original WE pack ( a bit like the Breakout) had no pockets my WE Expedition 1 has fragile mesh pockets my Karajini has " discrete for some reason" cordura pockets however they all were ok with a 2lt bladder inside with the pipe running out through the bag opening and under the the lid with no problems (dont kink the pipe) so you can use a bladder with ease IMHO :)

Thanks Corvus. It looks like I have nothing to worry about.
Or I could go for a Crossfire DG-3 as reviewed by 22f. It has a hydration port and is designed by somebody from WE. Just doesn't have the simplicity of the Breakout.

The Breakout come in a blue top and black bottom or all black. Which one should go for?

i completely agree and can vouch personally as i have a 2L bag reinforced with ye olde Gaffer Tape.. as long as there are no kinks and the drain port is roughly at the bottom of the bladder.. i have used this stuffed in the top of about 4 or 5 different packs just run the tube through the webbing etc on the shoulder straps. to clean it up i use the $2 / $3 home brew steriliser from k mart and rinse with tap water. I have thought about making a sleeve for it out of a coles freezer shopping bag but havnt needed to (or gotten around to) doing it yet...
