TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Sea 2 summit ascent 2 bag- compression bag

Hi, i want to get a compression dry bag for my s2s ascent2 bag. On snowys website under specs it says 10L/small sack- is this the size i should be getting for this bag? I know, probably silly question just don't want to get wrong size. Also not near any shops for a few weeks to go in and ask.
Cheers

I’ve used a 10L compression dry bag for my S2S Ascent2 bag, and it fits pretty well. It’s not a huge amount of space, but it’s usually enough for sleeping bags or small gear like that. I wouldn’t worry too much—it’s a common size for those bags. If you’re packing light, you should be fine. I’d say go with the 10L unless you’re looking to fit a ton more stuff in there.

I've got a few S2S sleeping bags and they all came supplied with the correct size compression bags, did the Ascent not come supplied with one?
Is a compression drybag really any better than using a PE bag inside the supplied sack?
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart
