I am always struggling to fit everything I need in my pack. With one of these I should be able to fit everything in
http://www.engadget.com/photos/giant-backpack/What do you think? Or should I get something a bit smaller?

Should just about do it I think. What is it? 752 litres? I'm concerned about the lack of hip belt though....

who needs a tent/sleeping mat when you have one of those?
Or try one of these McHales on for size. Kai Larson actually uses this pack.
He reckons its over 9000 cubic inches (147L)

Looks like he stitched two regular packs together!

I'm still rubbing my eyes whilst looking at this McHales pack picture. I'm not sure what freaks me out the most. The size or the fact he's standing upright with it on, instead of been driven face first into the ground! I reckon I could use this on the Overland as I love Echo Point Hut. I'm sure the hut would fit in, and there would be room for my cups of tea as well!

Put a front pack on it so when you do a face plant you save your nose.

Might buy one for my walking partner.....when I tire, I could climb on in and score a sneaky haul up the hill. I'm sure he'd never notice

Has Ollster ordered one yet? Imagine how many pairs of dry socks would fit in that.

Fifteen pairs of socks, sixteen pairs of socks, SEVENTEEN pairs of socks! Ah ah ah ah. I could have to change into every meal break. You guys would be even MORE jealous.

At the end of every trip at the top of my debrief notes are the items, get fitter, take way less stuff.
Outside a NZ brand no longer about did a very nice 100Litre pack in the late 80s or early 90s. A mate had one, his main comment was it made it easier to fit in a carton of stubbies in fitout taking the bottles out of the carton.
