TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Any ideas on and/or experience with folding kayaks that won't break the bank - i know you get what you pay for ( in some cases) but brands like klepper and a couple of european ones are a bit scary in price. Any experience of the NZ first light?? Looked at their webpages and they seem fairly impressive - no prices mentioned but being a blend of carbon/kevlar etc in their manufacture price likely to cost an arm and a leg. (any ideas on where you could source 2nd hand foldables- ebay appear to have mostly the cheap & nasty variety as well as no foldables ( at present-tho have not looked at us ebay sites as yet)- perhaps should have got a klepper or likevwhen the dollar was a $1.10- still would have been too *&%$#! dear tho
