I think he's saying the ones from the first day may have filled the internal memory, leaving the card unfortunately empty for the entire trip.
Nah, I actually thought the following may have occurred:
-First day worked ok, all files went to SD as the camera makes some assumption to use the SD slot.
-Second day - maybe the SD card was bumped and therefore did not get sensed by the camera as being inserted. Therefore subsequent photos were stored on internal memory. (my old Olympus used to do this occasionally, but that was with older xD cards, it however didn't have internal memory, it just stopped sensing the card until it was reinserted).
-When Danuszia goes to extract SD card and view photos - she only sees the first day's photos as the others are still on the camera.
*IF* the other photos went to internal memory, you should be able to plug the camera into a computer via a supplied cable (assumption - there is one) without the SD card in.
This is all just a wild guess...
EDIT: sounds like the guys above may be onto the answer though... I was being optimistic.
