TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Macpac Minaret: Pitching inner only

Postby luke_vic » Tue 19 Aug, 2008 10:00 pm

Hi, a question for those who own a Macpac Minaret tent:

Has anyone tried to pitch the inner on its own? Just looking at it (i have a 2007 Minaret), it appears the tent poles are too long when pitching without the fly. Obvioulsy the pole length is okay when pitching with the fly, but is there a trick when pitching the inner only?

Cheers
Luke

Luke I suspect you need to extend your inner to its fullest I have the opposite to you and think my pole is too short for my Microlite.
