Back Country Cuisine

Postby Patriot » Thu 30 Jun, 2011 3:09 pm

Hi there guys,

Late last year I purchased a bulk lot of Back Country Freeze Dri meals and have some items expiring in Aug-Nov 2011 and others mid to late 2012. If anyone is interested I have the following items available - I can get back to you with used by dates if interested. I have really enjoyed these meals and as I am overseas later in the year I will not be using these items and want to offer them to fellow Bush Walkers

The meals are all two servings (I think perfect for one person for a satisfying meal) and I have the following available: - All items are 13.50 each

Roast Chicken
Roast Lamb & Vegetables
Classic Beef Curry
Beef & Pasta Hot Pot
Babotjie
Thai Chicken Curry
Chicken Tikka Masala
Lamb Fettuccine
Moroccan Lamb
Pasta Vegetariano

Also available are the following sides: $5.00 each

Apple Pie
Instant Mash Potato
Instant Mixed Vegetables
Freeze Dri Mince
Porridge Supreme

If anyone is interested in purchasing please message me and I can provide pricing. I would accept either Paypal or Direct Deposit for items and I can offer a discount if you are willing to purchase more.

Cheers

You might find that dropping your prices will help you clear these out.

I struggle to understand why someone would buy off you for a fraction less than what they would pay for the same product at their local (usually around $15, although many places like MD's offer 10% off) with a much longer use by date.

Many outdoor stores will reduce the price of freeze dried food by 50% when the affected packets come within 3 months of their use by date.

At those prices it won't take me long to recoup the cost of the food drier I bought recently.
