Howdy,

As part of my Cert IV in Outdoor Rec Ive been tasked with producing a fully costed menu for 5 days, 5 people in a winter alpine context. White I am comfortable with eating the same, light, quick, cold, tasteless food each day... my clientys are not.

Can anyone help get me started on this by pointing me to some resources on the web? Google is not providing me with any answers thus far.

I repeat... I am not a foodie at all. Food is just energy and eating an inconvenience... this subject is quite difficult for me!!

Any help appreciated.

c.

Check out the eBook "Food to Go" (link in adverts that appear on this site frequently). It is seriously good, and worth every cent. If you're serious about using your knowledge of outdoor rec, and not just in getting the cert, then the book will be very useful in the future and worth the money.

Wow... that's a lot of planning! :-)

Browsing through this 'Bush Tucker' forum should give you plenty of ideas too. There's some good stuff here.
