Just came across an interesting new product recently released to power your electronics called Goal Zero.

Not really for local bushwalks, but Its a really interesting concept for anyone contemplating longer expeditions.

be cheaper to carry a motorcycle battery and a car tricle charger panel.... both systems would be heavy i think
