Holux Funtrek 130

From previous posts I gather that others have had some issues with this unit. I successfully loaded Mem Map topo Tas which seems to be working fine but my particular issue is that I can't seem to work out how to project and save a waypoint using UTM - WGS 84. I want to be able to take UTM coords from map and make this a goto. Am able to do this with my old Garmin easily but the holux won't allow what I gather is a false easting in the coords string ??
EG. Garmin readout for Guthega 55H 0623144 5972773 Holux 55H 623144 5972773 The holux interface won't allow the 0 to be added first ? Also after saving a waypoint it shows me my current location!!
Probably making a hash of this but any insights would be appreciated.
