Very interesting! It's like Firefox vs Chrome and OSM vs Google Map Engine. They are going to cream this market.

Well, they might be a competitor in the smartphone market with that, but I'm not seeing where I download a garmin or magellan image to put on my gps...

Shall we say not yet. Can see where GOOG is going with this on a long time scale. Scary and so much for "no evil".
