Does anyone here use 'Memory-Map'? If so, can you tell me if it can 'Save As' or 'Export' maps to standard image file formats such as JPEG, or PNG?
I'm considering buying
Their 'Tas-Topo' package which includes all Tasmanian maps (250k, 100k, 25k, street atlas) for about AUD$250 (NZ$299). But I don't really want the software, just the maps, and this would be orders of mangitude cheaper than buying them from Tasmap directly.
PS. I know that these are available from some sources for nothing, but I'm trying to do it legitimately.

As far as I am aware, MemoryMap uses a proprietary file format and is locked down, but would be delighted to hear otherwise.

hmmm... that's a shame, but understandable I guess.
I don't suppose it can export to OziExporer format either then?

Ditto
I know Flyfisher has MemoryMap - might pay to PM him if he doesn't respond

Oziexplorer is a swiss army knife of navigation software. It can support just about every open standard, and can export into image files quite readily. This is the exact opposite of products like MemoryMap, whose license agreement with map data providers surely relies upon protection of the licensed data from redistribution etc.
