One feature I really like on my Garmin is I can open my track file directly within Google Earth with no file conversion required.
After connecting the GPS to my PC I just open the following Garmin file to see my trip overlaid on Google Earth sat imagery

G:\Garmin\GPX\Current\Current.gpx

does anyone have experience with the Magellan explorer series along with the add on Qld 25k map?
