Here's hoping someone can understand what I'm trying to do...
I have a track saved on my etrex 30 that contains additional wanderings that I don't want to keep (i.e. I forgot to turn it off). Is there anyway to delete a portion of track already saved?

You can edit it in Mapsource or Basecamp.
Download and save a copy of the original first in case you stuff up.
Just look at track properties, delete the nodes you don't want.

All done! The longest part was waiting for basecamp to download via my (very) slow internet connection.
Now I'll have to find the time to play with basecamp.
Thanks again.
