Its a pretty straight forward principal, and the large air movement would help with condensation over time. Pretty much like a built in snozzle.

Yeah all the great ideas are. I like the closing mechanism as well, seems solid.

reminds me of the method that some kayak floats use to double as a dry-bag.

Must say it seems impressive. A bit heavy - not much under a kg - but could be worse. But there's no R value on the website . . . just says 'non-insulated, perfect for any non-freezing conditions'.
