Another fine collection of Aussie photos. Interesting. Three more people voted in the Tassie comp than in the Aussie comp.

Congratulations donktec. Commiserations johnw, so close. I liked your shot john, but in the end I voted for the winter shot be donktec in keeping with the season. It seems draws are the flavour of the month. Maybe we should have had a play-off this weekend!

Thanks wT. Hehe, yes that would be interesting! Unfortunately the nearest snow up here is about 7 or 8 hours drive so not practical for most photo comps :(. I seem to get more wintry/snow exposure onTassie trips than anywhere else (regardless of season). Winter for us is mainly cool frosty weather but generally great walking conditions.

I actually voted for your photo, John. To decide the tie breaker, I simply (mentally) removed my vote, and went with what was left. It was a hard decision, because it wasn't the choice I wanted to make.

But well done to donktec, it is clearly a great picture worthy of the photo of the month award! :-)

Thanks Nik. I don't envy you trying to decide the tie breaks and that's a very fair method. Yes donktec's shot is a worthy winner, and thanks for the vote! :)

Interesting result. I'm also interested to know from where the shot of Lake Pedder was taken.
Cheers.
