Tough comp this month!! I must admit I was quite surprised as to the competition my shot got this month!! I expected Halls Falls to get ALOT more votes than it did  , also thought the landscape at the Walls shot was a beauty, and the Painted cliffs shot was gorgeous (maybe that's because I was there myself recently though??)
Nothing to see here.

Amazing set of photos. The colours of scoparia makes up for it's spiky demeanour..
Congrats mark

That photo from Wylds Plateau was really nice.
3 lots of scoparia this month - and I thought it was a December flower.
And the cloud formation was great too - see the photo comp for another shot from Hobart taken probably on the same day - same amazing patterns.

Oh - and the hippo shot was good too - just need to make sure the clouds are not blown out by being too bright

Lol, was that passed was it?? I thought everyone thought that idea was nonsense.... but ok. I pointed the camera at the hippo, and pressed the button to make it go click.

Description huh... hmmmm Ok it represents the soul, the road is the person and the hippo is enlightenment, one must walk the road of life to reach enlightenment....

i like the way the image speaks to you.
But hang on, we were told that a non enhanced image would never win against the might of a DSLR with post processing

He still put up one hell of a fight!

I did get one nearly as big as this a few years ago at a popular southern surf beach, in around 6 feet of water. I couldnt keep a cray this big anyway, they are too old and majestic! Not to mention it's the biggies that eat the infesting sea stars!!
