'Ouch' belongs in a photographic exhibition on the life of a hiker. captures some of the pain and mental attention on that pain that we all feel at times, but conspire to ignore and discount, for me, sometimes with a sense of shame - that i am rarely pain free when hiking and in small part perhaps looking forward to 'retiring' from the trail here and there (mostly it's the knees). never seen this sort of pic before on this forum. it very beautifully illustrates one of the small uglinesses of our adventures. kudos to whoever's pic that is, broadening 'hiker art'. it's like i've found a 'comrade in legs' as it were.

haha no i didn't. have now tho. still Ouch has artistry rather than just a photo of messed up feet.

No, they don't hurt any more. Haven't since about three - four days after I got back. But they really do look horrid.
