HaHa, you mean the shoes that carried me 73km in 3 days??? No blisters anymore, have held up well on my last 3 walks, the SL's have now moulded my feet to their shape.....
I was thinking more of Gould from The Labyrinth

Sigh... with a camp out at the guardians... yeh that'd have been ok....... :?

Ah thats good to hear about yr shoes!! They are amazing once they shape. Even if I have gone to Zamberlans for now i'll always rate the SL'S as the top of the range! So tough!!

Thanks SbS. We took so long that 2 seasons had past before we even got up to the plateau  That pic was taken in the morning and we didn't have much hope of any views. We met several people who had spent the night up there and was going to climb Anne but said it had been a terrible night and morning. It cleared up and the afternoon was brilliantly clear and awesome. Mr Stibb (who is somewhat reluctant whenever I suggest we go for a walk) was ecstatic and decided that we will climb Anne too. Considering we took 9 hours to do Mt Eliza I think we need a few more walks under our boots before we tackle the Queen. We're getting good at finding our way back in the dark though

+1 It looks sooo inviting. This area will be one of the first we'll take on when we get our acts and gear together for a serious overnighter next year for sure.

Hi! I just noticed your reference to your Zamberlans being "amazing once they shape". I've just bourght a pair of the single piece leather 307 trail lite HBS womens Zamberlans and am finding them so stiff! I have worn them on 3x 1hr walks. Should I be more persistant? Could you comment on how long it took to shape yours?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Many thanks
Jenna
