I'm not convinced that one of those photos qualifies as a landscape.

Personally, I agree, but so far nobody has been able to come up with a good definition of "landscape". All the definitions I've seen so far are based on examples of what might be in a picture, and are not very helpful in this context.

Personally, I can't see anything there that would look out of place if hung on the wall in a "Landscape" photographers studio. I'm thinking that whatever definition we come up with, there would still be room for arguments.

Probably the best way is a broad definition and a good sprinkle of tolerance and latitude.
