Thanks and Sure no problem with exposure details:
1/15SEC - F6.3 - ISO 400, wide angle lens obviously to get such a large tree in frame so close. I did a slight tune of the exposure post camera. This is a huge and amazing tree from many angles. It was hard to chose what photo of it to use.

I think if Eggs had of submitted his photo with the changed exposure like here: http://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=2307&start=15390#p122441 he may have won as it's a very nice photo?

PS: Sharon loved your Melaleuca shot.

seems so simple doesn't it  just three variables...
What camera/lens do you use?

'Sharon' is half of 'shazcol', the other half is 'col' i.e. me, writing this. We use a single common login. I should have written 'We liked...' sorry about the confusion Stibb I knew what I meant when I wrote it but nobody else did :!:

I use two camera set ups for bush walking, an old Olympus 5MEG C5060 that is many many years old now but still takes a great picture and a not quite as old Canon 450D DSLR. I have a wide angle 10-22mm and a 17-85MM general purpose lens for the Canon. Bit over 3kg for all the Canon gear with a tripod, adds a bit to the pack weight! The camera body is reasonably light, it's all that glass that adds up quickly.
