Hello,
We are a couple from Melbourne in our mid twenties, looking for transport / car share from Lake St Claire to Cradle Mountain on 1st January next year (2015).
We’re hiking the overland track leaving 2nd Jan, so would like to arrive in Cradle Mountain some time the day before. We’ll have our car, and plan to leave it at the end of the walk (Lake St Clair). Looking for alternatives to the expensive private transport…the price goes down the more people you have. Also, happy to do a car shuffle if anyone else is walking at the same time!
