Just came back from doing the overland track and spent a bludge day at pelion .
Would like to go back and base myself at pelion for a few days (off season is great you can end up having the whole place to yourself)
Im thinking of coming in from arm river but have never came in from this direction.
Any thoughts and ideas would be helpfull .

If you do a search you will find plenty of info on the Arm River Track. The below topic will at least show you how to get there. The track is very good, and easy to follow. Takes around 3-5 hours depending on you pace. There is a nice hill at the start, but it is all over pretty quickly.

What pazaar said
You'll need a car as there is obviously no public transport to the start of the track
It's a great place to base yourself and bag a few peaks, all within a day walk from the hut
