Good Morning all,

I will be walking the OLT in November and I need to gather some information regarding transport options from Lake St Clair back to Cradle mountain.

I live in the north west and want to be picked up from Cradle visitor center after the walk.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Which part are you after Genesis? Cradle to Coast? There are public transport services? Maxwell has a new bus (Cradle Mt Coaches) I see and would be my first local choice, probably for LSC as well.. or (yes) the contractors, mentioned or you can access through the park service site-

Tassie Link (terminals in Launceston and Hobart) Ph: 1300 300 520
McDermotts Coaches (based in Launceston) Ph: (03) 6330 3717
Outdoor Recreational Transport (based in Launceston) Ph: (03) 6391 8249
Cradle Mountain Coaches (based in Devonport) Ph: (03) 6427 7626 or 0428 308 813
Tasmanian Wilderness Experiences (based in Hobart) Ph: (03) 6261 4971 or 1300 882 293

Hi Genesis

A friend and myself are also doing the OLT in November, we are planning on leaving our car at Lake St Clair before the walk. Currently we are looking at options to get from Lake St Clair back to Cradle Mountain before we start the walk.

What dates are you planning? We could share a ride together.

Regards,

Andrew
