Same here, but its 10 years since I bought any merino wear, and its only available at these price points once a year, so no guilt.

Thought about Aldi and this special buy but the local Broadway store was closed for deep cleaning… COVID-19! LOL

Plus seeing yourself on the six O'clock news trying to convince the police that to a bushwalker the thermal top and Helinox knock-off chair are actually essential purchases
But yeah, I know how you feel haha.

Yes, hardly essential purchase. Had to go to Coles late last night for food/milk and walked past Aldi and saw the scene.

I don't know if anyone managed to get the fleece I mentioned above (keep looking if you didn't ! [forget the merino] still worth keeping your eyes peeled. I still saw some last week floating around) but after several outings it's proving a winner.
The Seamless Tops are still floating around too-they are a real bargain.

I did drop in to my local Aldi. Picked up the INOC premium ski jacket for $49.00 down from $119.00. 20000mm waterproof/breathable. I didn't realise that the inner jacket was missing. Not too concerned as purchased as a heavy duty raincoat that can survive some bush bashing.

Anyone manage to get a dehydrator? None in store for me and apparently having issues with supply.

Aldi have a stock checker so you can look there to see if any local stores have it.

Yeah doesn't seem to bring up any results. There's apparently no date set yet for when it will be available.

I stopped in for some chips, salad and barbie meat. Spotted the cordless personal blender. Might be time to give one of these a go.
Red papaya with a bit if mango or strawberry and water. Wizz it up. Breakfast of champions

Beater socks on sale. Good for training etc.
Meshy T shirts also but quite heavy-you can get better elsewhere.

Aldi’s clear contact is available tomorrow.
I use their stuff on all my paper maps as it is fairly thin compared to the original and fold’s better and for those that way inclined I would assume lighter.

Fitness Tee shirts - no SPF rating, but light ~140 grams in medium mens, moisture wicking, polyester. $7. Available in mens (dark colours only) and womens - better colour range.
Men's fitness shorts no SPF rating, but light ~150 grams in medium mens, moisture wicking, polyester. $10. Dark colours only. They have a draw string cord around the elasticized waist - I remove it by removing some stitching at the rear.

If these are the same as previous, I’ll be grabbing another one of the men’s t-shirts. They are brilliant. I have two in a nice teal colour.

Aldi at Emu Plains have a Special Buy today of an "instant up" six person tent for $129 which seems quite reasonable for a double wall, steel frame tent. I couldn't see the weight spec but it weighed heaps, at a guess I would say 15 kg so by no means a lightweight. For the price it would be good for carcamping especially the quick set-up feature. I already have more tents than I can justify but thinking ......
