Lees Paddock Track Campsite

Postby wombat4787 » Mon 27 Aug, 2012 9:00 am

Hi all,

we are planning a trip where we head from Lake Meston to Pelion Hut via Lake Myrtle Track and Lees Paddock Track. As this is around a 26 km trip, I was considering breaking it up into two days as this will be more enjoyable. Chapman's book references a campsite West of the Private Hut along Lees Paddock Track. Has anybody camped here? Is it a nice place? Any other campsite suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter

I usually camp on the eastern edge of the paddock up above the Mersey. That's a nice spot.

Hi

The nicest spot in my humble opinion is at Wadley's Hut. You the have a flattish 10 km walk out.

Cheers
