WOJ crowds christmas/new year

I'll be back in Tassie between christmas and new year and thinking of doing a 2 night walk at the WOJ. How crowded is it likely to be then? Would you have trouble finding a camp spot or getting on the tent platforms? Does anyone have suggestions for another good 2 night walk where there would be less people?
