Cape Raoul walk

Postby Armitaa » Wed 06 Feb, 2013 10:08 am

We're hoping to attempt this walk one day over the Easter weekend with our one year old in tow in the baby backpack. I am fairly confident we will make it to Cape Raoul, but just wondered whether we would still get nice views if we don't manage to make it all the way to the Cape Raoul? We walked to Cape Huay four years ago, I'm assuming the condition of the track and the terrain is similar? Thanks.

There are good view to Shipsterns Bluff and to the Cape itself from around 1hr in, after that you have another roughly 2hrs return from this point to the cape itself.

From memory the walk took 4hrs so maybe 5 with a child on board
