Bridge Improvements over the Wurragarra in Lees Paddocks

We met them just after they'd finished on their way out and we were on the way in. Nice blokes.

We didn't go up to the bridge or the hut though.

Is that creek, the one your cross as you enter the paddocks jut before the hut?

Reason behind this improvement is bridge builder no 1 slipped off the old one ,got his leg entangled with the original wire "hand support" and ended upside down (head under the water) and was fortunate more that than his usual walking companions were with him :D
Builder no 2 may be well known to ex Don College Students, who had the the worst unfortunate accident on the bridge when he managed to separate the saplings and trap his leg right up to the "family jewels " ,according to his fellow bridge fixer ooh ouch !!.

Yes some dont know the bridge is there and use the crossing on the creek which at times can be impassible thus this which from memory is the second one in the last 20 years.

Next project with the approval of the "Paddocks owners " is for putting hand wires on the slippery log over "Big Creek" :D

Yes it is not that far up and no really distinct pad as yet.
