Oprey Retailer Hobart Area?

Osprey list Passion8 as their dealer in Hobart but they don't seem to be open any more so who is the Hobart dealer?

Mountain Creek have a couple but generally only the cheaper/more basic models (e.g Volt). However, given MC's customer service is so poor, I made the drive to Paddy Pallin in Launceston last time I bought an Osprey pack.

Thanks. I'm from the northern end of the state so PP would my logical choice but we are down south this weekend being tourists so I thought it a good opportunity to spend some money while we are down there

PP definitely have a decent range of Osprey gear. Good service too - they didn't have a raincover in stock at the time so posted to Hobart free of charge when it arrived

Passion8 closed quite a few months ago (maybe even a year ago) and Kathmandu have moved into the store where Passion8 was. All the outdoor places (MD, Macpac etc) are all nearby. Paddy Pallin in Launceston have fantastic service and will order and post anywhere.

Thanks ally pop I'm going to pop into paddy pallin tomorrow and hopefully buy yet another pack if they will price match a price I can get one else where

Service was outstanding at paddy pallin and they price matched so I bought a new osprey aether 60 they didn't have the midnight blue so I have to wait until it is shipped from NSW

When the service is so great it would be rude not to purchase something. At least that's one way to justify buying yet another pack/shell/sleeping bag/shirt .....
