Arm river road access current situation

Anyone know if the road to the Arm River trailhead is accessible by 2wd at the moment?

I emailed PWS and the Senior Ranger gave me the following reply:
"Maggs Mountain Rd is open with caution. There are still lots of trees across the road but the road is navigable with care. The verges are slippery but I was able to get to the Arm River car park without too much difficulty. Forestry Tasmania is responsible for the road and are scheduled to do some more work on the road in the coming weeks."

Just a heads up on this new road barrier. It is at the turn off to the Arm R track off Maggs Road. It could be hard/become hard to see in poor light or at night or at speed.
