Postby muka » Sat 24 Oct, 2009 9:16 am

I'm trying to find some contact information regarding Mark H.

Mark has a few websites up, this this one:
http://maps.google.com.au/maps/user?uid ... =au&ptab=2

Seems the chap is from Huonville. according to his blog.

Much thanks :)

My goodness how many are there?

So where is the chap who owns this website?
http://maps.google.com.au/maps/user?uid ... =au&ptab=2

I just would like to talk with him about a particular track he has outlined, and another track that could be added.

Cheers

Thanks for your offer.
OK, so if you look at this map:
http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?hl=en ... 5547c34a83
OR http://tinyurl.com/y9uxp96

You'll see a Red Paint Track from along the Organs Pipe Track to the Pinnacle Road [near the Visitor Centre].
What I'd like to know if there might be a particular feature along the Organ Pipe Track where this Red Paint Track starts - like anywhere near that momument for instance.

Last week I gave the Yellow Paint Track from behind the Chalet that runs up above the road for a while and then heads uphill - it comes out where the Panorama Track meets the Pinnacle Road near the top.
Good walk, quite steep and needs plenty of attention to find those stone-pile-markers from time to time.
Also it's overgrown in places - looks to me like it's meant for retirement.

In case you know, what is the general policy on maintaining markings? The Lost World Track [red and yellow dot from the Hobartian end] could do with some attention.

Cheers Muka

Well I found the Red Paint Track [that comes off the Organ Pipes Track and ends up on the Pinnacle].
Did the walk yesterday admist the drifting fog.
Most enjoyable climb.

Just like to share the outcome . . .
I have 'found' Mark H via someone I meet on a recent walk.
Thanks
