I got married on one of the beaches at Cockle creek. Very remote and quiet. Stunning beaches surrounded by thick forest.
Nothing to see here.

Our son and d-i-law had their wedding at Lemonthyme Lodge 3 years ago, married under the eucalypts and ferns in the grounds and then the reception in the Lodge. The Manageress was so obliging and the expense kept low with the meal coming off the general menu. A great venue and in lieu of presents the guests stayed the night and then joined the happy couple for a walk around Lake Dove the next day.

My Son's wedding was held in the Emu Valley Rododendron Gardens off the Ridgley Road south of Burnie in 2008. There is a beautiful setting beside the lower lake, surrounded by cherry trees that were in blossom in early November.
