Mt Field campground

Postby Binder » Sat 03 Sep, 2011 3:53 pm

G'day all

Just a heads up that Parks has resumed management of the campground at Mt Field, formally known as 'Land of The Giants Campground'. No prior booking necessary, just roll up and do the self rego envelope or pay at the visitor centre if it's open. Rates have been reduced. For rates see http://www.parks.tas.gov.au/index.aspx?base=412#mt

Contact details are Mt Field National Park : 6288 1149.

Cheers

Ripper and thank you. It's a convenient place - especially the washing machines and dryer and showers. I love those showers; last time down a night there was the only time I managed to get clean.

Hmm, we must have been some of the last people to stay there before the changeover- so I copped full price!
Here's a pic to prove it!
