Weindorfer Memorial Service Jan 1st 2012

Just a belated reminder that tomorrow is the annual Weindorfer Memorial Service, held at Gustav Weindorfer's grave site adjacent to the Waldheim Chalet at Cradle Mountain. It is organised every year by a special sub-committee of the North West Walking Club. This year is the 102nd anniversary of Weindorfer's first entry into the Cradle Valley, and the 101st anniversary of his first ascent of Cradle Mountain. The service starts at 1.00pm. I plan to attend, so if any other BWT forum members will be attending, please let me know and I will look out for you.

I will be there, Looks like it will be a nice day for it. I hope to go for a stroll up to Hansons peak before the ceromony, Regards Martin
