Might look at Cullen this week, any info. Is McPartlan pass a good place to start, how do you avoid the scrub SBS mentions in
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=4979&p=59497&hilit=mt+cullen#p59497 ?

I stayed at Cullen (Prahran) last December. It's named after an artist who is now dead. He certainly had some interesting art work.

There's a good narrow lead going starting from the road directly below the summit.

Except the true summit is the one behind, and that's where the worst scrub is.

Best views are from there though. Best to traverse East to West imho

Directly under the wrong summit!

If you want a challenge go E-W, but ILUV is correct if you just want to bag it. The country is very open and easy walking on the slopes. The scrubby bit is the Eastern summit ridgeline.

Lovely. Another mountain I've never even heard of.

My route goes up to the true summit, its just difficult to see where it starts from the road.
