Any Walk Suggestions?

Wed 24 Apr, 2013 9:03 pm

i'm planning to do a 3 or 4 day walk late next week but unsure of where to go, i have access to everywhere around cradle/St Clair NP and WOJ and possibly beyond and i just want something a bit different to the regular WOJ or Ossa trip, any suggestions? initially i was thinking the walls area with nights at Tiger lake and Lake Solveig but was also thinking about the Mountains of Jupiter area.

thanks, Jake

If you are competent at navigating off track Lake Ada - Lake Fanny - Walls - Pine Valley (including Solveig, Sally, Antimony) - Theresa Lagoon - Lake Ada is a great little 3 or 4 day circuit.

Pine Valley (including Solveig, Sally, Antimony)

Isn't that Bernes Valley?
It's a trip I hope to get to later this year.

Hi Jake. Do you have to come out the same way you go in? Or do you have more options with drop off or more than one car?

Still waiting to do it myself, but what about Cathedral Mountain etc, with as big a loop as you want - eg include Lk Meston, Mt Rogoona, Lk Myrtle and out via bushbash to Jackson Creek Track, or via Bill (with a bit of a road bash or car shuffle/shuttle).

Sounds like a good walk Graham,

How about up Higgs Track to Ironstone Hut, then spread as wide as you like and head back out the same way on the final day?
