Hi,
In early December we will be walking from The Devils Kitchen to Cape pillar and returning via the Cape Pillar track to Fortescue Bay.
I am after some “local” knowledge on the availability of water at the campsites, in particular the site at Bare Knoll
Thanks in advance,
W.

My family and I did a day walk from Devils Kitchen to Fortecue Bay. There was reliable water at Falls Camp and Bivouac Bay campsites. It has been many years since I have completed the other sections so cannot inform as to water availability now.

Just back from our trip,
As already posted plenty of water at both Waterfall Bay and Bivouac Bay.
Fortescue Bay also had plenty of water.
However the Bare Knoll camp area has no water, on our way there we carted from Wughalee Falls (a bit over an hour). The second day, during our day walk to Cape Pillar we pick up water from Lunchtime creek (about 20min)
The Mt Fortescue track between the Cape Hauy turn off and Wughalee Falls has a number of trees across it and is quite hard going in places.
Happy walking, W.
