Has anyone walked out and overnighted on Lake O'Dell or Flora on the Central Plateau? If so any feedback/advice/impressions?
Or Tin Hut or Little Blue Lagoon for that matter!

Yeah, I've been to them all and camped at Flora.
General Impressions?
Are you going to fly fish there? If that's your main reason for going then it depends what sort of experience you are after. Tin Hut is really barren and rocky, so is Little Blue Lagoon but there are MASSIVE fish in there. I would only go if polaroiding was an option (but I'm a real softy these days when it comes to flogging wets).
O'Dell and Flora are in a more sheltered spot (relatively speaking) and has eucalypt fringing one lake (not really fringing actually - maybe 100 meters from the edge). Much nicer for camping and from what I can tell, more reliable fishing. The polaroiding is AWESOME!!!!
I think the camping would be more enjoyable here and there's some kind of hut there too, but I don't know the story behind that. Might be private or run down or something.

The wife is obsessed with windswept alpine plains, which is the attraction LOL
Thanks for that.

She will love tin hut then.

The camping is poor at Tin Hut
If open and windswept is your choice then it would be hard to go past Flora and Odell.
If you dont mind walking a bit further consider the tarns on Christys Ck system past Ada
or for more extensive scenery and waters the three lakes in the Little Throne system out past Lake McKenzie in the north.
Access there is 8kms over open ground.
