Hi all, wonder if anyone has ANY knowledge or experience of hiking off the Traveller Range to end just north of the suspension bridge over the Narcissus River? Any little bit of info will be helpful. Thanks

Yes. You can get it really right, or badly wrong. I've descended off the range around that area twice. Once was through a steep slope, heavy with fallen trees. The second time was through open forest basically clear all the way down. The first route was aiming at the river much closer to Narcissus, the second we started further back up the range and came out further up towards the PV junction, IIRC.
I'm sure a couple of guys on here that I went on the second trip on would have some GPS information on the route taken. Will ask.

Ah, yeah... that would be it! Thanks Eggs!
So that gives you a good idea of where to descend. It was really nice open forest all the way down (except for a little scrub around the top).

Yep, follow my gps map and as Ollster says, it was very open.

Don't suppose you have one for the Eldon Range?
